Shanghai increased 12.71 points or 0.41% to 3,091.20. Hang Seng increased 41.07 points or 0.22% to 18,444.11. ASX 200 decreased 23.90 points or -0.31% to 7,737.10.

While speaking to the Financial Times, the Fed president stated that people would simply prefer a recession to continued inflation.
2 天前 · The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB) has reported that America was forced to pay $514 billion in the first seven months of FY2024 on interest costs alone. This means that America paid more in servicing its debt than on any other program besides Social Security ($837 billion), which is a separate problem entirely.

This discovery came to light in 1895, when the treasure was uncovered among volcanic ash from the eruption of Mount Vesuvius on August 24, 79 AD.
