6 天前 · 129 posts. 13th Day of 21 day trip. May 23, 2024, 8:43 AM. Very pleasant weather to start the day with. Proceeded to Nara Park , Todaji temple and nearby areas. Went to Osaka from Shin osaka ,Tokaido Sanyo line... and from osaka to Tsuruhashi by Osaka Loop line, Tsuruhashi to Kintetsu Nara Station by Kintetsu Nara line.
5 天前 · Answered: Any opinion between the two? We are looking a mid range property. Budget is $300-400 a night. Planned to book the Krio but it’s sold out. Currently booked for the Arenal Springs but the Manoa looks nice too. Any other recommendations welcome too.
5 天前 · Travel pass for Osaka /Kyoto arrival. Hi, as we are arriving in Osaka and then staying in Kyoto, I understand we can't get the welcome to Suica card as it has to be activated in Toyko. My next plan was to do the Suica app but having downloaded it, it's all in Japanese, so that's not too helpful. We fly into Osaka, then 5 days in Kyoto, and 6 in ...

We want to experience some of Japan's cities but also enjoy smaller, quieter towns in the countryside. Below is a draft of our 3-week itinerary planned for either mid April or mid May 2025.

Shinjuku is along Shinjuku-dori (East exit of Shinjuku Station) and parts of the area between Yasukuni -dori and Koshu Kaido (Rt. 20) from 12:00 to 18:00 in summer (17:00 in winter) on Sundays and Holidays. Ginza is Saturdays, Sundays and Holiday. April to September 12:00-18:00.

Our rough draft itinerary looks like this - Tokyo x7 nights arriving late evening - Kanazana x 2 nights, Takayama x 3 nights, Kyoto x 4 nights. Hiroshima x 2.
