We are near Shinjuku Higashi train station currently and planning to go to Hakone tomorrow. After doing some research, seems like best way is to go early to Odakyu Sighseeing Service Center at Shinjuku station and get Hakone free pass.

My wife and I are visiting Kyoto, Hiroshima and Tokyo in September and we are wondering whether it is better to purchase a 7 day pass either here in the UK before our departure or on arrival in Japan or indeed if it makes no difference. Could anyone offer advice on this. Thanks.
4 天前 · 11. Re: 8 Nights in Tokyo. With 8 nights, splitting your stay between two areas might not be a bad idea. Of course, you will have to pack and unpack, take your bags and check-in/check out one additional time. With that said, both bases you are considering are convenient to visit the rest of the city. so you don't necessarily need to move.
