I know this post is a bit long , initially thought of doing 3 or 4 messages, but then decided otherwise. Most may find it boring or repeated, still thought of sending this put. My 3 weeks Japan was a spectacular success. No surprises, shocks, delays, etc.

My Husband, 12 year old son and I are planning a 1 night stop at Hakone from Tokyo on our way to Osaka. What area is the best to stay in to make the most of our time in Hakone. We will be purchasing the 2 day free pass.

I will provide my itinerary below, but also have a few questions... For booking hotels in April, how far in advance should I book ?
3 天前 · 1. What rail passes would work to get me to the various destinations? 2. Is the order of destinations best for the rail pass? 3. When should I activate the pass? It will be our first visit to Japan, and we like to see areas well rather than cover a wider area quickly. Advice on our itinerary would be appreciated too. Regards Grant. Days 1-4 Tokyo.
3 天前 · We have 5 1/2 days in Tokyo coming up. My initial itinerary is as follows, would like any feedback as to what might not be doable. Day 1: The making of Harry Potter followed by Tokyo Met Building, Shinjuku and Omoide Yokocho and Golden Gai.

Day 2: Underground discharge channel tour followed by Meiji Shrine and Shibuya area incl Shibuya Sky. Day 3: imperial palace , fish market and Team Lab planets, end in Ginza for dinner.
6 天前 · Hey all, planning a trip to Hokkaido next year and I'm wondering if this itinerary is a bit too packed? Would appreciate if anybody has done a similar trip and has any recommendations? Was considering trying to base myself in Niseko and doing a day trip to Kiroro but it seems the only way to do this is with a 2-3 hour train/bus ride or renting my own car.
