I know they are renovating some sections but not sure the rooms got renovated. It was the worst Ritz experience of my life.

So my first five days at Shangri-La Tokyo. 2 days at Honjin Hiranoya Kachoan at Takayama. 2 days at Kanazawa. Hotel/Ryokan undecided. 3 days at The Thousand Kyoto. 2 days at Marriott Miyako at Osaka. Please suggest a good Hotel/ryokan at Kanazawa.

Our booking is flexible, so I am trying to determine whether to go to Miyajima as a day trip, or cancel one night in Hiroshima and book a night in Miyajima. We are aiming to stay between 10 - 14 days and want to experience fishing there. We are particularly keen on fishing for trout with lures and bait.
