4 天前 · 我們先去了一座尖頂綠柱紅樓裏的「草編市場」。 稻草或麥稈編織是巴哈馬的傳統手工藝，一進這個市場就見滿滿登登的草編攤位，出售各式各樣的草帽、草包、草袋、草籃。 巴哈馬人口中黑人約佔百分之九十，所以這裏的攤主大多是黑人婦女，她們都很熱情地招徠顧客。 這個市場還銷售許多其他工藝品，如木刻、雕像、瓷杯等。 我喜出望外，發現兩個木雕的彌勒佛朝着我哈哈大笑，似乎在歡迎我這個遠道而來的客人，可我不知這兩位大肚彌勒又是何時千里迢迢駕臨巴哈馬的。 琳琅滿目的陶瓷品中有一個咖啡小杯尤其吸引眼球，我一看就買了。 杯面上是一幅巴哈馬的美景圖：紅日中天，藍天上飄着白雲，藍海上飛着鷗鳥，粉紅沙灘上站着兩對紅色火烈鳥，其長頸長足給了牠們亭亭玉立的身姿。 巴哈馬是火烈鳥之鄉，火烈鳥是巴哈馬的國寶。
