Some other hotel choices I know of: Hatoya Zuihokaku--nice Japanese style rooms (with beds if you prefer), nicer than the likes of Dormy Inn for sure. Sakura Terrace and Sakura Terrace Gallery--cheaper properties about 5 minutes south of Kyoto station, nice modern style rooms. Reply.
