6 天前 · Budget: JP¥ 16,000 – JP¥ 18,000 per night. Areas we are planning on going to: Mostly Shinjuku. Shibuya and Akihabara. Other areas/places of interest, would be Tokyo National Museum, Sensō-ji, Kanda Sudacho, Tsukiji, Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden more or less. A couple of daytrips to Nikko, Hakone also planned.

6 天前 · The Shinkansen stations such as Shin Osaka and Shingawa have many escalators and elevators and they are not hard to find. However, at small subway stations, it’s not easy to find one. For example, here is a map of Dobutsuen-Mae station: https://subway.osakametro.co.jp/station_guide/M/m22/.

6 天前 · I would like to hike the section of the Nakasendo way between Tsumago and Magome. I will be arriving from Takayama and departing to Tokyo. I have 2 nights and would like to stay in a Ryokan. Initially, i was going to stay 2 nights in the same ryokan, then get the bus to the end of the trail and walk back.
6 天前 · I’ve just been reading the Entry Requirements section on the Gov.uk website for Japan. It says you just need your passport to travel to Japan and do not need anything else before you leave. However, you will need to complete a tourism visa on arrival in Japan.
