6 天前 · Special trains between Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara. Hello, I'm currently planning for my upcoming trip to Japan in Feb 2025. Since it is my first time so there are lots of things that I want to do. I will be getting the Kansai Area Pass and I'm interested in taking the Aoniyoshi Train and Nara Shika Train.

Is there any city or town ANYWHERE between Kyoto and Tokyo areas that would make for an interesting one day visit?
6 天前 · I think it all looks a little rushed but not suer what else to do. TIA. Monday Day 1 land in Tokyo Haneda late morning stay in Tokyo Tuesday Day 2 Tokyo sights. Wednesday Day 3 Tokyo. Thursday Day 4 Tokyo but travel out to Nikko. Friday Day 5 Hakone Mt Fuji. Saturday Day 6 Kyoto. Sunday Day 7 Kyoto. Monday Day 8 Kyoto.
5 天前 · The three hotels I listed are not in the most convenient areas as quiet and convenient usually don't go together. But they all have a subway station or two within walking distance. Tokyo ’s subway system is very extensive so you can get to the main attractions without a problem.

I am looking at staying in Kyoto, then doing the Hokuriku Arch Pass to get to Tokyo in 7 days. I would like to see Kanazawa, Takayama and Nagano in that time but it doesn't flow too well with Takayama in the mix.
