6 天前 · Walking tour recommendations in Japan. May 24, 2024, 7:55 PM. Hello! I am planning on going to Japan in late October/early November with my mother. We would like to do some hiking while we are there - likely a multi-day walk/hike like the Nakasendo Way or Kumano Kodo Trail.

Croman I did all the walks you have listed but the one I enjoyed most was Darby Saddle to Darby River. The beaches especially Fairy Cove are gorgeous. It is quite challenging though. So my first five days at Shangri-La Tokyo. 2 days at Honjin Hiranoya Kachoan at Takayama. 2 days at Kanazawa. Hotel/Ryokan undecided. 3 days at The Thousand Kyoto. 2 days at Marriott Miyako at Osaka. Please suggest a good Hotel/ryokan at Kanazawa.
