4 天前 · 1. Re: Japan, 2 weeks itinerary. Onomichi could be visited on the way to Hiroshima, or as a day trip from Hiroshima, which would cut down the umber of hotel moves. Kyoto and Osaka are close together and you could consider basing yourself in just one of the two cities. Answered: Hi guys, I am going to Japan for 2 weeks this August/September.

We will be arriving end of October 2024 to Osaka and have 4 nights, then 5 days hiking the Kumano Kodo trail. Next Miyajima Island for 1 night then Hiroshima 1 night, maybe 2. Kyoto 3/4 nights and then our last stop will be Tokyo.

My initial itinerary is as follows, would like any feedback as to what might not be doable. Day 1: The making of Harry Potter followed by Tokyo Met Building, Shinjuku and Omoide Yokocho and Golden Gai.
3 天前 · Japan Itinerary for Fall. Planning a trip to Japan for 7 days with 4 people in September. We're landing in NRT airport and directly to Nagano. I'm not very fond of crowded areas, but would really love a good view of Mount Fuji near there, if possible. Or we can totally base somewhere closer to Mt. Fuji.

Just wondering, just preliminary planning, looking to spend 3.5 days in Kyoto the taking the train to Tokyo. Not planning on "day trips" from Kyoto, just concentrate on Kyoto proper. If you had a choice would you stay in the Gion area or Kyoto Station area?
