2024年4月1日 · 若住戶拒絕申報是否擁有香港住宅物業／填報家庭入息及／或申報其家庭資產水平有否超逾現行公屋入息限額的100倍，便須遷離其公屋單位。 * 首次申報或不足兩年. 為加強打擊濫用公屋，確保善用公屋資源，小組委員會通過由2023年10月開始實施優化「富戶政策」。 每兩年申報. 公屋戶主及所有家庭成員由入住公屋開始，每兩年須向房委會申 報： 是否擁有香港住宅物業. 是否經常持續居住於公屋單位內. 是否遵守與居住情況相關的租約條款. 在購入香港住宅物業後（簽訂任何協議（包括臨時協議）一個月內），戶主及所有成員亦必須主動向房委會申報。 如租戶拒絕申報，其公屋單位租約將會被終止。 「富戶政策」下獲豁免申報的租戶 ，無須申報是否擁有香港住宅物業，只需申報居住情況。

2024年4月16日 · Housing Authority Member. Ms Winnie HO Wing-yin is appointed the Secretary for Housing on 1 July 2022. Ms Ho joined the Government as Architect in 1992 and was promoted to Chief Architect in 2009, and to Government Architect in 2012. She was appointed the Director of Architectural Services in 2020.
