2024年4月20日 · 渣打銀行財富管理處主管陳太齡表示，ESG投資風潮係由法人機構的投資策略方針帶動起，「政府基金與大型機構法人意識到企業社會責任，選擇投資標的時不會只看投資報酬率，更會積極主動選擇符合ESG的投資標的，並要求這些企業達到環保的規範，」 因此，在機構法人選擇ESG投資的驅動下，會讓企業關注環境、社會責任與公司治理的重要性而進行調整，「以往企業視投入更多資金以符ESG規範是一項成本，事實上，愈早轉型的企業，會更有競爭力，不致被淘汰，」陳太齡分析指出。 不過，並非所有的企業都有即早轉型以符合ESG規範的行動。 直到疫情爆發後，猶如「兵臨城下」，直接影響企業生存，讓大家意識全球經濟體實則脆弱，供應鍊因某地區封城而中斷，連帶影響全球，有企業因此倒閉。
