  1. Types of places to stay. Whether you’d like a cozy retreat or a lively space to meet new people, we want you to find a place that's just right. Hosts on Airbnb offer a wide variety of spaces, ranging from shared rooms to private islands. There are four types of places: entire place, private room, hotel room, and shared room.

  2. About Superhosts. A Superhost is a Host who goes above and beyond to provide excellent hospitality. Guests can easily identify a Superhost from the badge that appears on their Airbnb listing and profile. Qualifying as a Superhost. Anyone can become a Superhost, and you don’t need to apply.

  3. The Resolution Centre lets you request or send money for things related to your Airbnb trip. Guests and Hosts can ask Airbnb for help in reaching agreements.

  4. If you missed your 24-hour window to accept a guest you want to host, no worries: Ask them to send new request and throw in a special offer for good measure. Please note: Airbnb can block your calendar if you haven’t provided all the information required for your account. You have 24 hours to accept or decline a trip request before it expires.

  5. City registration pending: The Host has started the registration process but hasn’t been granted a licence or registration number yet—it’s totally fine to book these listings. Exempt: The listing is exempt from registration for reasons determined by the city—these listings are also perfectly fine to book.

  6. You must be at least 18 to book a reservation or host your place on Airbnb.

  7. Go to your Listings and select the listing you want to edit. Under Listing editor, tap Arrival guide. Tap Guidebooks. Edit title, cover photo, and choose which listings the guidebook is associated with. Tap Add to guidebook to enter places, neighbourhoods, and city advice. Tap Profile and then tap Switch to hosting.
