2020年2月24日 · The latest national survey in China reported the prevalence of exclusive breastfeeding at 6 months to be 20.8%, and the breastfeeding rate dropped to 11.5% at 1 year and 6.9% at 2 years [ 2 ]. These breastfeeding rates fall short of the targets recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) [ 3, 4 ].
Infection control measures in public hospitals included the cancellation of antenatal classes, hospital tours, and postnatal classes; suspension of perinatal visiting periods; and compulsory separation of COVID‐19 positive mothers from newborns. In addition, work‐from‐home policies were widely implemented.
