Arriving in Bari on a Monday night, for 4 nights 5 days, so will stay at Accor hotel near station in Bari first night as a late flight, to then go to Matera by train for one night leaving on the Wednesday mid morning to get to Lecce for on night and Alberobella thereafter staying one night returning to Bari to see the city area before our flight leaves later in the evening on the Friday.

We will be spending a week in Puglia at the the beginnig of April landing in Bari airport. We plan to rent a car.As I read that there is difficulty finding parking in Bari itself, I thought of renting the car for 5 days and the last 2 in Bari without a car.Or is it better to have a car fo the whole week, in Bari too?

We spent the 4 nights in Bari but took 3 day trips, we went to Polignano a Mare (short 30mins train). Trani (30mins train) and Ostuni (1hr train and a short wait and journey on bus to the town. All 3 places were awesome, and all very different but all spectacular.
