城規會發言人說：「市民現在可安坐家中、辦公室利用個人電腦，以至在公共圖書館、民政事務處及郵政署等處上網瀏覽法定圖則。 本港目前的法定圖則共一百零六張，包括分區計劃大綱圖及發展審批地區圖。 發言人說：「新推出的電子化圖則不單方便規劃顧問公司、發展商、地產經紀及律師行擬備發展建議，更有助準業主及欲知家居附近發展的市民知悉毗鄰他們物業的土地的建議用途。 使用人士如欲搜尋某一地點，可先進入電子圖畫面，又或輸入街道、樓宇或區域名稱。 每份圖則亦附有註釋，詳述各類土地用途地帶，並列明每個地帶內的許可用途及須向城規會申請許可的用途。 這些圖則可用八種不同比例瀏覽，包括由一比五十六萬至一比二千五百，漸次顯示更詳細資料。 網頁畫面上設有「最新消息」欄，通知市民最新公布的圖則或最新的圖則修訂項目。
