33 reviews. 33 helpful votes. Macau - do in one day or stay over? 14 years ago. Hello. I wonder if I may ask your advice as I'm currently feeling a bit undecided as to whether to stay in Macau for a night or just do a full day trip there. We arrive on 3 April mid afternoon and leave on 13 April.
In general Macau is a very safe place. No problem walking around Senado Square at night. Pickpockets - sure. Be careful in crowded places, Senado Square or other places during the day, and casinos. Outright robbing you is rare. Report inappropriate content. thd007.
