  1. 2022年3月24日 · With HKBN, you should be able to search your building and find out if they offer connections - which might still be restricted due to internal capacity issues. Once you select a plan the termination clauses are usually quite standard. Will post a couple of screenshots when I get a chance. 24-03-2022, 11:47 AM #8.

  3. 2008年5月11日 · Cable Internet providers usually lock you down to the first MAC address you try to connect from. So you get the MAC address of the first machine you connected with, copy it, put it on the routers MAC Address cloning portion and you're set. This is what I did for a friend who had iCable's net service a while back.

  4. 2008年12月9日 · HGC has had the worst history of problems according to locals. I-cable has a bad reputation in Hong Kong. I was with Netvigator for 3 years before, and they were stable.

I first used 200m then upgraded to 1g fiber mid-contract for $10 extra a month! never had issue and work 100% full time at home. also download at 800mbits with Ethernet cable. Wi-Fi limited to 300ish due to my router.

However this ends in November and am hunting around for another offer, HKBN are asking for around HKD250 a month without mobile line.

  8. 2021年8月9日 · I swear by netvigator after having tried everything in town except HKBN, whch I find ironic as I believe my China Mobile line will be rented from HKBN. My need for internet is different than most home users as I host some server at home. Their speed could be extremely slow at times and often disconnected.

  9. 2008年8月24日 · Sham Tseng, NT. Posts. 452. If your computer is to blame here, then it's probably a software issue (should it be hardware, it will either work or not. not somewhere in the middle). Therefore, i'd suggest you do a clean re-install of your operating system, and see if that solves it. A re-install shouldn't take more then an hour to do ...

  10. 2024年9月11日 · Quick question please? What's everyone paying for broadband, and which ISP please? Cheers HKBN's latest renewal offer to me is HKD149 a month for 24 months.
