   2024年1月26日 · 香港太空館於1980年10月啟用，是香港用以推廣天文及太空科學知識的天文博物館。 太空館設計獨特的蛋形外殼，早已成為香港特別行政區的地標之一。 香港太空館分東、西翼。 蛋形的東翼是太空館的核心，內設天象廳、宇宙展覽廳、全天域電影放映室、多個製作工場及辦公室；西翼則設有太空探索展覽廳、演講廳、天文書店和辦公室。 天象廳裝設有直徑達23米的半球形銀幕，除了設有東半球第一座全天域電影放映設備外，更是世界上第一座擁有全自動天象節目控制系統的天文博物館。 每年，香港太空館製作利用數碼天象投影系統播放的天象節目，並精選國外出色的立體球幕電影在天象廳播放。 香港太空館每年舉辦不少推廣活動，包括鬧市星蹤、星空遊樂園、趣味天文班、天文講座、天文電影欣賞、特別天象觀測活動等。
