  1. Hello everyone! I am a student from Seneca College and currently conducting a study for my course. I hope to understand Greater Toronto Area customer preferences for bubble tea and find out the new toppings to be added in Chatime menu. I'd really appreciate your help. It takes about 5-10minutes to fill out.

  2. AFAIK, for most of the world, it's still called bubble tea. "Boba" is an American invention, as far as I can tell, and only recently since 2010ish. My guess is that American slang has been re-exported and more people recognise the term "boba" even if it wasn't called that originally in their country. Reply.

  3. 2020年9月6日 · Yes tea is involved, but that's not why you get it. It's a sugary flavored drink, and I like the chewy boba. I like actual coffee too, but a desire to drink coffee is not why I get a pumpkin spice latte. Boba drinks and frappuccinos are not tea or coffee. They are deserts that contain tea or coffee. 15.

  4. 2023年10月3日 · Peach, black sesame, honeydew melon, pina colada and green apple are my favourite flavours. Taro is my fav. In my area there are a few bubble tea places. One one of them is called BOBAPOP and I love their Korean Banana Milk Tea (it’s soooooo gooood) it can get sweet though so I ask for them to turn down the sweetness.

  6. 2012年8月15日 · Bubble tea, also called pearl tea, is a drink which comes from Taiwan. It is made by mixing black tea with non-dairy creamer or milk and adding round "pearl" tapioca. There are many flavors other than the original one. Green tea can be used instead of black tea. Extra items such as honey, coffee or cocoa can be added.

  7. 2018年9月1日 · One vendor enlarged the pearls and called it "boba" tea and since then the name became synonymous with tapioca pearl milk tea. Boba was originally a childish slang word for "nipple" in Taiwan. They both looked similar, so the name stuck. Nowadays, boba is pretty much only associated with the drink.

  8. 2018年10月31日 · From what ive seen, they use a sugar syrup. If you get 100%, that is approximately 2.5-3.0 cm (height) of sugar. Usually i get 30% or less, youre buying bubble tea for the tea not the sugar. It completely destroys the taste. To me, anything above 0% is like drinking condensed milk. I think 0% is my sweet spot.

  9. 2021年6月9日 · Never worked at a bubble tea shop, but I’ve worked in similar fast paced restaurants! My best advice is taking your time in training and really absorbing everything! Find the most efficient way to do tasks and practice the motions. Soon it’ll be like second nature to you and honestly that’s when the job is most fun. Good luck!!

  10. In North American cities over the last 10-15 years, l feel like as the frozen yogurt craze was dying, bubble tea was in a perfect position to take over as the primary affordable casual dessert option. Not to mention that bubble tea is generally less messy and more convenient to take on the go than frozen yogurt was.
