The Hong Kong Red Cross ("HKRC") was established in 1950 as a branch of the British Red Cross Society. Since 1 July 1997, upon the return of Hong Kong's sovereignty to China, the HKRC has changed its affiliation to become a highly autonomous branch of the Red Cross Society of China.

香港紅十字會 （英語： Hong Kong Red Cross ，縮寫： HKRC ），是 香港 成立於1950年的一個 慈善團體 ，作為 國際紅十字與紅新月運動 在香港的代表組織，積極推動社群，本着人道理念與志願服務精神，竭力保護生命、關懷傷困、維護尊嚴。 自1976年起在香港依據《 香港紅十字會條例 （ 頁面存檔備份 ，存於 互聯網檔案館 ）》（ 香港法例 第1129章）成為法定團體運作 [7] [8] 。 根據 國際紅十字會 規定，一個國家只能有一個屬會作為代表，並必須建立在獨立國家的領土之內 [9] 。 香港紅十字會成立時香港是英國殖民地，因此它便成為英國紅十字會的分會。 當時香港紅十字會又稱為「英國紅十字會（香港分會）」 [10] 。
