Kai Tak Runway Park. KTRP is located at the tip of the former Kai Tai Runway. It enjoys a world-class panoramic view of Victoria Harbour and distant features of the Lion Rock, Kowloon Peak and Lei Yue Mun. KTRP Phase 1, which has a grand lawn (over 1 ha) and seasonal flowers to create interest and character, was opened to public in June 2014.
啟德跑道公園 （英語： Kai Tak Runway Park）是 香港 《啟德發展計劃》首階段的項目之一，於原 啟德機場13/31跑道 31方末端興建的 航空 主題公園，佔地8.54 公頃，與 啟德郵輪碼頭 相連，可以飽覽 維多利亞港 、 鯉魚門 及 觀塘 美景。 首期工程於2012年8月啟動，於2014年4月22日竣工，於8月10日正式啟用，整座公園於2016年竣工。 2022年2月22日，政府決定將啟德郵輪碼頭改成社區隔離及治療設施，目前公園大部分空間已經封閉。 [1] 歷史. 經過多番討論，涉及多個 香港政府部門 的討論後， 建築署 計畫公園以航空為主體設計的主題。
Perhaps the most isolated patch of green space in all of Kowloon is the small Runway Park at the end of the old Kai Tak Airport runway, just next to the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal. This small park was opened in 2014 as part of the grand opening of the cruise ship terminal.
Kai Tak Runway Park opened in 2014 and is located in Kowloon. If you’re into aviation, or just want to stand for a while imagining what was, but no longer is, it’s well worth making the effort to visit. The park is primarily comprised of an open grass area.
