We would like to do some hiking while we are there - likely a multi-day walk/hike like the Nakasendo Way or Kumano Kodo Trail. Can someone please recommend a good tour company to go with?

The access page says 7 minutes from JR but in reality, it’ll be more like a 15-20 minute walk from the NEX platform. Go out of the New South Exit and you'll see an elevator to the Bus Terminal.

4 天前 · 2nd: Tokyo. 3rd: Tokyo. 4th: Tokyo to Nagano: Interested in onsen and snow monkeys. 5th: Nagano to Shirakawa-go: Afternoon and evening in the village, staying at a farm house for the quieter country vibe. 6th: Shirakawa-go to Kyoto. 7th: Kyoto. 8th: Kyoto, possibly day trip to Nara. 9th: Kyoto to Hakone: Ropeway, Lake Ashi and Mt Fuji sights.
4 天前 · Hi. Need advice on doing a 2 day trip from Kyoto to Mount Fuji area for 3rd - 4th June 2024. We get int from Kyoto on morning of day 1 and leave for Tokyo on evening of day 2. We would like to cover the following. - Kawaguchiko area (have heard that this is the best place to see Mount Fuji + Oshino-Hakkai town + 5 lakes + ice cave)

4 天前 · Hope you can assist!! Understand the cost for JR pass has gone up from October last year and cost almost AU$500 for 7 days.. then read few articles and there's national pass for around $50 of 7 days . I'm confused and not sure what's the difference!
