If you check-in online and get your boarding pass electronically, and you skip the airport kiosk and check-in counter and proceed directly to the gate, you WILL need to approach the gate ahead of boarding to present your passport, assuming it's an international flight. They need a minute or two to run it through the system.

Bad - Bar only open until 11:00pm (which is fine with me but I have 2 kids that are in their 20’s so they didn’t like that) If you want a coffee or cappuccino after the restaurant is closed then you have to pay either 100 or 200 pesos.
