2023年9月21日 · Officially, Kai Tak Airport held the ICAO code of VHHH, but for logistical reasons during the transition to the new airport, it also temporarily used the ICAO code of VHHX, which is also the code used by the flight simulation community to virtually represent the airport. 2019年8月31日 · Note: the Scenery Pack on the X-Plane Gateway has still got the incorrect Ident "VHXX" and is marked as "VHXX [X] CLOSED Kai Tak". So the first thing you would need to do is edit the apt.dat in that Scenery pack or your 3rd party Scenery so it contains the same Ident Navigraph navdata is using, eg. "VHHX".

2015年5月19日 · I often get distracted with different projects and new aircraft (IXEG, 727v2). In this case though, I wanted to wait for Xplane 10.5 (new airport features and aircraft AI), new version of WorldTraffic, and also have a stable version to start playing with the mesh for Kai Tak to properly model the bay and storm channel.

2015年5月19日 · Posted May 19, 2015. Was working on a lego brick version of Kai Tak airport along with lego brick lead in lights. But non sequenced strobe lights just look silly. So it was off to do some research and after a ton of trial and error, I managed to create properly sequenced strobe lights with decent lighting billboards.
