  1. Feel free to message the Host with any additional questions – they’ll typically respond within 24 hours. Once you’ve settled on a place, book it! Each Host has their own style: Some are happy to let you book instantly, while others require you to send a request for approval. Learn how to book and what to expect.

  2. You should receive an email to leave a review on the morning of checkout (based on the place’s timezone). The 14-day time limit (or 30-day time limit for experiences) starts then. Guests and Hosts can also leave a review for certain reservations that are cancelled on or after the day of check-in (12.00 am in the listing's timezone).

  3. Mark a booking as a business trip by selecting Is this a work trip? during checkout. This way, you can add trip notes that’ll be sent to the person who manages your company’s travel. You’ll also get an expensable receipt from us in your work inbox. It’s also a good idea to share info about your trip in a message to your Host.

  4. Click Cancel request. Note: Some reservations may generate additional charges or temporary authorisations. Find out more about when and how you’re charged for a reservation. As long as your pending trip request hasn’t been accepted, you can cancel the reservation through the message thread with your Host.

  5. Suggestions will show after typing in the search input. Use the up and down arrows to review. Use enter to select. If the selection is a phrase, that phrase will be submitted to search. If the suggestion is a link, the browser will navigate to that page.
