   How to get from Havensight port to Morningstar Beach?

   • We took an open air bus ($6 each) from Havensight port to Morningstar Beach - Magen's Bay was closed the day we were there. Morningstar beach is adjacent to Frenchman's Reef and Morning Star Marriott hotels. There are beach chairs for rent and a small beach that wasn't crowded. The water was so nice - with some lovely waves.

   Is Morningstar a good place to stay?

   • Morningstar is a great spot to check out. It is dominated by the large Marriott hotel complex, but not in a bad way. In fact it's sort of nice because there are some services you don't otherwise get such as nice bathrooms, and a good sources of food and drinks.

   Is Morningstar Beach like Magens Bay?

   • Morningstar Beach- Not like Magens bay! Our taxi dropped us off at the Buoy Haus hotel. You walk through the open air lobby to Morningstar beach. (No signs for the beach) The hotel allowed us to use the restrooms to change. We were able to purchase drinks at the bar. There were no vendors on the beach to rent a chair or umbrella.

   Is the Marriott Reef Hotel at Morningstar Beach still accessible?

   • The Marriott Reef Hotel located at Morningstar Beach has been shuttered since the 2017 hurricanes. We were staying at the adjacent Marriott Frenchman’s Cove and were curious if the beach was still accessible. It isn’t - the hotel driveway entrance is barred with a locked gate and a sign indicating the area is closed.
