  4. Sanjusangendo (三十三間堂, Sanjūsangendō) is the popular name for Rengeo-in, a temple in eastern Kyoto which is famous for its 1001 statues of Kannon, the goddess of mercy. The temple was founded in 1164 and rebuilt a century later after the original structure had been destroyed in a fire.

  5. The largest of these festivals is the Nebuta Matsuri (ねぶた祭) of Aomori City, held every year from August 2 to 7. The highlight of the festival is the daily parade of enormous lantern floats, flanked by large taiko drums, musicians and dancers.

  6. 2016年6月23日 · I recorded this jingle on the 5th of may 2016, at the Shin-osaka station, when I was about to go to Himeji (on the Sakuro 551 Shinkansen). I love this melody so much, I recorded it but the quality isn't quite good. Does anybody recognize this jingle and can someone give me a ling to a high quality sound?
