2022年8月10日 · 日本最早的关于金酒蒸馏的记录，可以追溯到1812年的长崎。当时一位叫茂传之近的人，得到荷兰人传授的技术，开始制作金酒、白兰地和啤酒。不过据当时荷兰商会会长亨德里克·道夫（Hendrik Doeff）的《日本回想录》中的记录，那时制作的金酒，杜松的味道过于突出，成品不是很理想。
