2019年5月22日 · 運行在香川縣的多度津站和德島縣的大步危站之間的觀光列車「四國正中千年物語」，由鐵道公司JR四國營運並於2017年4月粉墨登場。 奔馳在縱斷四國地區中央部的土讚線上，「四國正中千年物語」途經金刀比羅宮、善通寺等有著千年以上歷史的寺社佛閣，車窗外望眼放去的美麗溪谷等自然風光，加上網羅使用香川縣和德島縣當地食材的美味料理，不僅是鐵道迷也大受日本國內外遊客的喜愛。 「四國正中千年物語」由三節車廂組成，其外觀設計理念為「日本的姿態」和「四季的變遷」。 外觀左右不同，1號車廂以綠色為基調名叫「春萌之章」，2號車廂的藍色那側叫做「夏清之章」，另一側的白色則為「冬清之章」，3號車廂以紅色的表現為「秋彩之章」。 另外，因為車站構造原因，遊客只能在多渡津站和大步危站看見2號車「冬清之章」一側的車體。
