Personally I usually get to eat at Omicho in Kanazawa quite often although I missed out on that yesterday. it is a retail market and has several shops, but the ratings/reviews vary greatly, so watch out for that. One of my favorite sushi restaurants is there.

Toyosu (豊洲) is a man-made island in Tokyo close to Odaiba. It was created in the 1930s and later enlarged. The famous Tsukiji Fish Market was relocated to Toyosu in 2018 where it reopened as Toyosu Market. Toyosu also happens to be the site of the first 7-Eleven convenience store, which opened in Japan in 1974.
Hotels. The Furukawa Fish Market, also known as the Aomori Gyosai Center (青森魚菜センター, Aomori Gyosai Sentā), is a public fish market in central Aomori. Just like the Auga Fish Market a few blocks north, the Furukawa Fish Market is filled with tightly packed rows of vendors selling all sorts of local seafood, vegetables and pickles.
Kushiro Washo Market (Kushiro Washo Ichiba) opened in 1949 near Kushiro Station and is one of the "three big markets of Hokkaido".There are about 60 stalls selling fresh seafood, dried products, meat and vegetables. A popular meal at the market is "Kattedon", a donburi dish where diners can personalize their rice bowl with seafood bought from the vendors.
Shimizu Port stretches for many kilometers along the waterfront. Access is provided from both JR Shimizu Station (a short walk from Kashi-no-Ichi Market) and the Shizuoka Railway Shin-Shimizu Station (a 15 minute walk from S-Pulse Dream Plaza). There are a number of bus lines that travel along the main road parallel to the waterfront.
