Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Flour and Butter a loaf pan. Cream the butter and sugar. Add the zest and eggs one at a time. Add vanilla. Mix all dry ingredients in a separate bowl then add to creamed butter, alternating with the creme fraiche. Transfer to loaf pan, bake about 60 min until tester comes out clean.
