19 years ago. Check you bank card whether it has the "Plus" and/or "Cirrus" symbol. If it does, you are probably okay but some local currency prior to arrival is always handy. Suggest to purchase an "Octopus" card, a stored value cash card for local transportation, small purchases at convenience stores, etc.
