Here is info for those of us with BCBS insurance. Print the info and take it with you, just in case. http://www.bcbs.com/coverage/bluecard/bluecard-worldwide.html.
We actually used AXA in Thailand for my wife's insurance when she visited Schengen area last year. It was not possible to buy online but the insurance worked. We even got her medical costs back. It could have been smoother including a web claim form that would have worked but making a claim by visiting their office produced results.
