2014年7月1日 · Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low 終於登上 Nike iD，已經可以自行設計鞋面 flyknit 的花色，並有可能搭配出近似於先前 HTM 版本的組合。Kobe 9 Elite Low iD 已經可以在NIKEID.com上購買，定價 245 美金，不過台灣目前並沒有 NikeiD 的服務，喜歡的朋友可能要多費點
2014年9月27日 · Kobe 9 Elite 是採用 Flywire + Flyknit 交織而成，當然，他絕對強化了側項運動時的保護性，同時在不犧牲穩定性的前提下，為這雙鞋款盡量減低重量，個人認為，這是 Kobe 9 Elite 相當成功的一個元素之一。 再來，Kobe 9 Elite 鞋側的碳纖維穩定片更是畫龍點睛的一招，除了在腳跟部位緊緊夾住穿著者的腳踝之外，他也在中足側面搭載了碳纖維板，讓球員在做探步以及 crossover 的動作時，側向的動作能夠獲得徹底的反應，對於靠地板動作以及速度取勝的球風有相當大的助益，或許市面上其他款式也有側向的穩定性設計，但應用上碳纖維板則是目前在市面上的籃球鞋較為少有的巧思。 談到這邊，當然我們也不能漏提到 Kobe 9 Elite 充滿拳擊靴色彩的鞋筒設計。
