We will be spending 14 days in China, 2 days Hing Kong and 1 day Macau in April 2019. Mainly use for maps and checking emails. Thanks!

  4. You can purchase local sim cards from convenience stores like 7-Eleven stores, mobile phone stores like 3 and others, etc. Yes, sim cards will work in Macau, but most likely, you'll be considered to be roaming, so, will pay higher charges for that usually.

  5. Answer 1 of 5: I will be transiting at Bangkok in late-April for a day and again for another day in mid-May. I try to purchase some data (mainly for GoogleMap and some WhatsApp) during my short stay there. Should I buy this "Go Plearn SIM"...

  6. I should have no problem getting a prepaid SIM card in Hong Kong. But getting one in Taiwan seems to be a little more difficult because of the government requirement and time constraint. I saw in a different discussion someone was able to use the SIM card that they purchased in Hong Kong to make calls in Taiwan.
