With a debit card, if it has the Plus, Cirrus or Union Pay logos, then you can withdraw at bank machines with no additional charges locally.
It's pretty convenient for most types considering your credit card is compatible with Maestro, Cirrus or Plus. Just make sure you see the matching logo's on the ATM as it is on your credit card but be aware of fees.
