Dec 2015 • Solo. Yoshidajō was a flatland castle situated strategically on the river bank. The current three-tier Yagura you see is a 1954 reconstruction. The castle changed hands many times from the warring states and through the Edo era, until it was surrendered to Meiji government forces in 1871.
