Locate the connector for the SU-1 under the caution seal in the battery compartment on the back of the radio, just peel off the caution seal. Align the connector on the SU-1 with the transceiver’s connector and gently press the unit into place. Affix the new (supplied) caution seal, and replace the battery.

I have been working off and on trying to update VX-5 Commander to the level of some of my other software, and it is almost there. However, there are still some quirks, and some more things I would like to add.
