  2. There's no such thing as "mp4 dvd". Either you have a dvd iso (or files and folders on drive) utilizing vobs which contain mpeg2 video, or you have an mp4 file (s) that is a rip+conversion from the above, and mp4 does not support menus (neither does mkv). Scott. Quote. 10th Apr 2022 11:00 #3.

  3. Thread. I'm using WinX DVD Ripper to create MP4 files from DVDs. In the 'Resolution' settings, the selection 'Keep Origin' appears to render a file that's 640 x 480. ripping an MP4 with the 640 x 480 setting. All files appear to be the same window size and quality on my screen. the lower resolution. But I'm not sure if my eyes are playing tricks.

  6. 2018年1月29日 · So grab some DVD bitrate calculator and maybe you have enough of room. Those 1,5 Mbit is quite a lot. If you encode to AC3 choose say 224kbs (but as was said 192 should be enough also) that is plenty for 2channels. If you go with mp2 audio and say you encode to the same bitrate, in theory, it would be tiny bit worse.

  7. So there is likely a misunderstanding of the process or terms used. What you are performing only requires two steps: 1) RIP the DVD 2) convert to mp4. You can RIP with a program such DVDFab (which also has a conversion tool, although I've not used it). Then convert to mp4 with the program of your choice.

  8. Batch convert your DVDs to high quality MP4 or MKV files (around 2-3GB/movie). Tools required. DVD Fab Decrypter. Handbrake. Note! If you don't need to shrink the the movie but you want ONE single MKV file from the DVD then can you can use MakeMKV instead. It will make ONE MKV from your DVD.

  9. Converting interlaced to progressive (de-interlacing) shouldn't effect the audio sync at all. Keep in mind NTSC can be interlaced "video" at 29.970 frames per second or 59.940 fields per second (same thing, however you look at it), or "film" at 23.976 frames per second that's converted to NTSC using 3:2 pulldown.
