If you are a local candidate who is applying for admissions on the strength of qualifications other than the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE), you should apply through the Non-JUPAS Admissions Scheme. “Local candidate” means that you DO NOT require a student visa/entry permit to study in Hong Kong.
Answer. The applications via the International / Non-JUPAS Admissions Scheme normally opens in September/October each year. You may also wish to go through the Important Dates when applying to the University. Applications submitted after the first round application deadline will be considered on a rolling basis subject to programme availability.
We welcome applications via the International/Non-JUPAS Admissions Scheme for Undergraduate Programmes from: (i) Non-local students completing qualifications other than mainland China's National Joint College Entrance Examination (NJCEE / GaoKao); and. (ii) Local students completing qualifications other than HKDSE.
Applicants applying to the University on the strength of NJCEE result or local applicants applying with HKDSE results should submit their application through theHKU Admissions Office (Mainland Admissions) or theJUPAS Office respectively, instead of applying through the International Admissions Scheme / Non-JUPAS Admissions Scheme.
International/Non-JUPAS Entrance Requirements. Applicants are required to satisfy the minimum University and Programme Entrance Requirements for admission to HKU Business School programmes.
You may submit an application for UP TO 5 undergraduate programmes at the University (Year 1 / Year 3 Entry). Evaluation will take place concurrently and independently for all your programme choices. You may refer to the status of each of your programme choices under ‘Application Status’ on the left panel.
