2022年9月16日 · VPN services that only has free tiers/plans got to get finance some where from. And probably by selling data. The paying users of Proton are paying for the free users so proton don't need to sell data. That's probably what he ment.

2024年6月27日 · 3. They sell your data and your traffic and turn a profit. They have a whole free tier, the difference is now on android you don’t need a proton account to use it. To be more specific, there are 5 locations (Japan, US, Netherlands and 2 others I can't remember) and when you connect it picks one of those randomly.
2021年10月20日 · Select Network & Internet. Select Advanced network settings. Select More network adapter options. Right click on ProtonVPN TUN and select Options. Double click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Enable the Obtain an IP address automatically as well as Obtain DNS server address automatically. Click OK, then click OK to exit out.

2017年6月21日 · 3. So they don't really toggle speeds for any plan. They just offer less servers for other plans so the speeds with be lower due to higher load on the servers. Maybe the total bandwidth is different from Plus Servers as well but I don't really think that every Plus Server is 10G and all others are not.

2023年9月24日 · If the first, try logging out of the app, then log back in. If logging out doesn't work, or it fails to connect, log into your Proton account, click your account name, then Settings, Security and privacy, and click Revoke all other sessions. This will log you out of every Proton app. Log back into the VPN app, and try again.
