2017年12月1日 · I have 2 videos (abt 17.75min -1Gb & **15min - 0.9Gb) on hard drive. I can load and can watch in Shotcut. I tried a ‘default’ convert to mp4 but those cannot be read / presented with std Windows Viewer. 2nd attempt started creating an enormous file multi Gb. I had previously converted a DVD VOB file (0.2Gb) using default settings and got a mp4 (0.17Gb). What am I doing wrong?
2017年11月17日 · Previously I have only used MP4 files in Shotcut. I now have some old films converted to digital and they are .vob files. Windows Media Player opens and plays them ok. Shotcut opens them but only plays the first 20 secs on some and freezes on others. I have the latest version 17-11-07 on a Windows 10 64 bit machine., Does Shotcut not work with .vob as input files? Thanks.
2022年7月28日 · I’ve been using SHOTCUT for some months now. I’m systematically converting my family video DVD’s to MP4 (H.264) but I have found I can’t import my (non macrovision protected) .vob files fully into SHOTCUT. I only get 15 minutes or so of a 29 minute file to
2018年6月25日 · Mp4 would work fine for this, but DV would not work because it does not support HD resolutions. Also, I convert to a high-quality intermediate format (ProRes, DNxHD, or high-bitrate H.264) so that I maintain high quality through the edit process.
2019年10月16日 · I tried to open it using Shotcut, and that did not help. How do I convert my video that ends in .vpb to an MP4 video? I’m using the video editor that is part of my photos, and it only saves my videos in the .vpb format. I can’t upload it on to YouTube unless it’s in an .MP4 format. Any help would be appreciated!*
2021年2月8日 · I’m new to video processing. I want to convert my daughter’s wedding video to a single mp4 file. I have a choice between using the original single VHS tape, or the original CD, both which were provided by a professional videographer. The CD contains 7 VOB files. I have an Elgato VHS converter to convert other old home-made VHS tapes. Which conversion path do you think would yield the best ...

2017年8月29日 · I have a completed project on Shotcut. How do I get it onto a DVD? The must-haves: 1) retain resolution (1080p), 2) retain frame rate. The clip is about 5 minutes long and, in MP4, comes out to about 1.25 Gb; significantly less than the 4.3 Gb limit on single layer DVD’s. There is no need for a menu or anything similar. Clip goes on DVD; DVD goes in player; DVD displays on screen in its ...
2017年9月28日 · I’ve been using SHOTCUT for some months now. I’m systematically converting my family video DVD’s to MP4 (H.264) but I have found I can’t import my (non macrovision protected) .vob files fully into SHOTCUT. I only get 15 minutes or so of a 29 minute file to load into SHOTCUT. I’m running the latest version as of September 2017. I have a solution but it’s not ideal as I lose ...
The Export panel (also File > Export Video…) is used to create a new video or audio file from your project because File > Save saves a project file. Think of this like a photo editor that saves its own format (e.g. .psd or .xcf) versus saving a JPEG or a word processor that saves to its own format (e.g. .doc or .odt) versus a PDF. The most important thing to know is to click Export File to ...
