其實當年「PORTER YOSHIDA & CO」為進入台灣市場，在1999年時與尚立國際合作，將PORTER JAPAN引進到台灣販售，並授予該公司原料材質及設計使用的權利，也讓出現「MADE IN TAIWAN」的PORTER誕生。
