6 years ago. Yep, complaints here are legitimate. Complaints are not coming from the competition (as some responses, likely from Trip.com, which is now China Hotels have alluded to...don't be won over or build trust when you see common English names such as Mark, Emily, or David).
I think sometimes some of us get too suspicious. Trip.com, as has been mentioned here, was acquired late last year by Ctrip, which is basically the Expedia of China. Living in China over the past several years I've dealt with Ctrip quite a few times with no complaints. In fact the new Trip.com layout and design looks like Ctrip's.
