Peter Taylor was the first Palace player to score for England, and the second player to represent England whilst in Division Three. Ian Wright scored 117 goals in 277 appearances, the club's record post-war goalscorer. Geoff Thomas won nine caps for England and captained Crystal Palace to the FA Cup final in 1990.
