    為減少臨時封閉西九龍公路及連翔道的次數和時間以及提高安全性，房委會設計團隊與承建商決定採用一個嶄新建造方法 - 於海盈邨及海達邨兩旁分別組裝橋身部分，然後同步從臨時支撐鐵塔放下接駁安裝 (接駁位置標示於橋身地台)。 為嚴謹監測每個施工的階段，承建商採用了「建築信息模型」和「三維激光掃描技術」以進一步提升施工的準確度。 為配合行人天橋的接合工程，連翔道及西九龍公路的相關路段於2019年12月29日凌晨全線臨時封閉。 在我們與多個政府部門緊密協作下，天橋接合工程於短短一夜之間順利完成，讓公路恢復通車。 其後在設計團隊、承建商及各個政府部門的通力合作下，我們於2021年8月13日完成此長跨道行人天橋的工程，並開放予公眾使用。
