Who we are. The Hong Kong Jockey Club Disaster Preparedness and Response Institute (HKJCDPRI) was set up in 2014 with the generous donation from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. Housed in and led by the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, the HKJCDPRI aims to build a prepared community in Hong Kong to respond to disasters.

2020年7月30日 · 30 July, 2020 Thursday. 為小學生而設的嶄新防災教育劇場. 自超強颱風「天鴿」及「山竹」來襲、社會事件和2019冠狀病毒病爆發後，香港市民的防災意識已見增強。 由於兒童較成年人脆弱，災難更容易對他們的身心造成負面影響，因此讓他們在學校接受有關災難的教育相當重要。 香港賽馬會災難防護應變教研中心有見為小學生製作的第一個防災教育劇場「防災小將 Get Ready!」取得成功，因此特別與劇場工作室合作，推出另一套名為「防災生活 由細做起」的話劇，繼續教育兒童各種災難，讓他們了解及學習有關災難風險和應變的知識。 今年夏天推出話劇「防災生活 由細做起」。
HKJCDPRI is based at the HKAM, and partners with CCOUC, HKU and Harvard. We focus on the need for competencies on knowledge, skills as well as attitude to reduce disaster loss and suffering.
