    2011年2月2日 · 制作技法の多様化を促した写真の登場は、今日の現代美術のルーツの一つだと私は思っています。 「図像を描く、とらえる」という歴史の流れのなかで写真が生まれ、次に映画が生まれ、やがてテレビが生まれました。 今では携帯電話で写真が撮れるし、テレビも見られます。 最近では3Dのメディアも登場しています。 これらはすべて、つながりのある変化です。 古典作品と現代美術は、一見まったく別のものに見えますが、違いはあっても断絶しているわけではありません。 脈々と流れる時間の中で、少しずつ変化してきたのです。 古いものがあるから、新しいものが生まれてくるのだと思います。 これからも美術はどんどん変化していき、それに伴い、保存・修復にもいろいろな難しさが出てくるでしょう。
